I'll save you the time of looking up the left wing media defense of this ... here is one of them.
The BIG message is "nobody thought it was improper at the time, and it was applauded!" ... in other words, "Deep State / Global Elite 101" ... since nobody made an issue of it THEN, (since it was the "home team" (Democrat, MSM, Deep State, etc), ergo, it is NO PROBLEM! Nothing here folks, move along.
OH, and "it is common practice to trade on famous parents names"! Really, you don't say! Ever hear of a family name "Kennedy" for example? And that would, what? Make it OK?
Which is exactly why Trump was elected! The defense for the Deep State will point out that the Trump kids do "the same thing"! For which I'm not going to bother to go look at their "evidence" because I don't care.
It isn't like we have any alternatives here. The idea of a "clean politician" is an oxymoron at this point,
Trump is the ONLY one to even CLAIM to make an ATTEMPT to attack the Deep State, and he certainly has! It has cost him and his family a lot! Like a BILLION dollars!
OTOH, the Clintons went from being "pennyless" (down to a few million) to order $100 million, and Obama is rolling up the millions.
